Kindergarten

A Dynamic and Comprehensive Montessori Curriculum

Our kindergarten program includes an enriched academic experience tailored to each child’s developmental stage, with hands-on materials and individualized instruction:

  • Handwriting: Focus on cursive writing to refine fine motor control.
  • Language Arts: Phonetics, reading fluency, grammar, and sentence structure.
  • Geography & Cultural Studies: An exploration of the seven continents, including food, habitats, animals, music, people, and traditions.
  • Mathematics: Decimal system, four operations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division), and skip counting.
  • Science: Hands-on experiments and exploration of natural and physical sciences.

A Structured Daily Routine

Kindergarteners participate in the uninterrupted morning work cycle alongside their younger classmates, engaging in self-directed activities and lessons. In the afternoon (1:00-3:00), while younger children rest, they join small-group lessons guided by lead Montessori teachers. This focused time allows for deeper engagement in math and language activities, followed by reading chapter books to develop comprehension skills.

Two children sit on a blue carpet, examining and placing pieces on a colorful world map puzzle laid out on a white mat.
